Victor

Companionship or love is an important part of the human experience because it makes people feel like even though no one is there for them at least that one person is. Companionship is also important because it allows you to experience new things with your significant other. Also learn what you dislike and and like in a relationship so if you part from your companion, you will know what to look for in your next relationship. Love motivates Victor because he is trying to protect Elizabeth and kill the monster regardless if he can't or dies trying.Just as long as Elizabeth is safe Victor will be okay. This is because Victor is really inlove with Elizabeth and love can make people do crazy things.

Is It This Or That.

The creatures personality seems bipolar through out these chapters. He is very upset about about his looks and then feels he will get hope talking to De Lacey, since he is blind. What the monster most in life is companionship. The creatures goal seems unattainable mostly because of his looks. It was also considered unbearable to most humans in his time period. People for example the child made the mister feel very ashamed as well. The period the monster gets very upset is the fact he choked the little boy. Before the monster killed the little boy he told him he would spare his life, but once he found out the little boy was a Frankenstein the monster took all his anger out.He (the creature) feels he is a messed up creation, everyone around thinks of the creature as a hideous monstrosity. The monster also blames his master (Victor) for making him as ugly as his is, so he is very resentful towards him. Victor was also the first to abandon the monster. This made the monster feel no one could love him if his own master couldn't.

Not The Best Situation.

A situation in which a person may feel constantly rejected by others is if they are a person who is less fortunate than others. Say the person is going to a job interview and their clothes have holes in them. The interviewer would be less likely to pick the employee with the raggedy clothes, compared to the next person applying for the job with the suit and tie. Another situation is if the person was in school. If they can not afford nice things and students are able to tell, they will not be accepted them for who they are. Just what they look like. It's basically like judging a book by its cover. This could also make it very hard to make new friends, causing the person to feel as if they are an outcast.  The person would also start to feel as if there is something wrong with them, just because others in society reject them constantly. Then the constant rejection would lead the person to change who they are as an individual. Just to fit in with the "cool"crowd and feel like they belong.

Discussion

While reading the first four letters I learned that explorers are very determined. By determined, I mean they are willing to complete their mission no matter the circumstance. Explorers also have to be well prepared for the journey, because they never know what they might encounter. All preparations leading to Walton's departure are self explanatory to what he will need to have. I also learned explorers may love the thrill of exploring the world and experiencing new things, but it may get very lonely. Traveling can make certain people feel isolated, especially if they are traveling with people they have absolutely no connection with.

No Electronics For Youuuu

If all electronics ceased to exist, I would spend my time with my sloth. Together we would read stories, play hopscotch, body paint, tell foryunes, and watch the sky pass by. Oh I fortgot, we would walk to the zoo to go see his family. Before Consuelo and I watch the sky pass us by, (during the sunset) we would bake pizza k the side walk. So we could have a wonderful dinner before we watch the sky. Then after the sun goes down, we will crawl to the beach and catch a ride on my orca to the moon . While on the whale we lay back and watch the stars. Consuelo and I can spend every single day like this until electricity is invented. Then when things get boring, we will go to the Jamaican Hut and have bonfire. After that we will walk to everyone's house we are inviting to invite them formally. Then when the time comes, we will party like no other person has partied. There will drums, flutes, and banjos.

Desperate Measures

A time where I had to take desperate measures is when I was bungee jumping in California. I love to feel my adrenaline pumping so I thought it would be a wonderful idea.I knew my mom was skeptical of letting me do it at first. I knew she had paid a lot of money and she would have been furious if I would not have gone through with it. There I was, up in the sky watching the huge plunge to my death (if it didnt work out). I wanted to chicken out but then I thought what the heck. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, leaned back, and fell into the sky. My desperate measure was to go through with it because there was no rufunds. The rush was unbelievable and I was very glad I went through with my decisions.

Deception of Rejection

A time I had to convince someone of something is when my cousin was going to break up with her boyfriend. She had heard that her boyfriend was cheating on her from a female she use to go to school with. When my cousin told me who the female was, I was skeptical of the whole situation. The female at one point of time did not care for my cousin what so ever.  She also used to have feelings for my cousins boyfriend. My cousin was un aware of that until,  I informed her about the feelings the girl once had for her boyfriend. I know my cousins boyfriend on a personal level,  so when I heard of the actions he so called did I knew it could not of been true. I also knew how strong his feelings were for her and he would never hurt her. When I approached him about him cheating he explained the entire story to me. The girl had appraoched him and told him to leave my cousin for her,  he told her no and she was devastaed and dashed off. I told me cousin about this and she confronted the girl and thanked me for not letting her make a stupid decision.

Aspirations.

I have developed multiple aspirations to help me overcome the cramming dilemma. I assure myself that I can get the grades I want on the OGT’s. My first goal is to only be concerned about my education. By this, I mean stop being so afraid to ask about a topic I do not understand. Asking questions would give me a better understanding and maybe someone else who does not comprehend. My second goal is to start having a lot more confidence in myself. This is because I know I am capable of so much more than what I exhibit in school. Sometimes if I get a grade that is low and I know I deserve better, I will not approach the teacher about it. I will just leave it as it is because I would not feel like having a debate about a grade that will not be changed based on my opinion.

The History Nightmare.

The OGT I feel least prepared for is world history. I really do not know what it is but when I learn, it goes in one ear and out the other. Sometimes I try to pay attention but I get so bored. I honestly do not know how I manage to pull a 'B' in history. When I take my book home I attempt to read but I always end up falling asleep, with my face in the book. I will change my feelings about the world history OGT because I will study in a new environment. My room makes me feel comfortable, so if I stay later at the college I can get more done. I will organize a study schedule to tell my self  which sections to review each day. I will actually push myself to do it, even though I would really not want to. I will review my previous quizzes to get a idea of what might be on the world history test as well. The practice OGT site would benefit me because I could get a lot of information and learn while I am taking the tests. I could look up videos on YouTube about the Cold War , The Great Depression, and the bombing of Pearl Harbor so I could a better understanding of the events. I could review my RAM art from the first semester along with this semesters too so I could review what was covered previously.  If, I follow these steps not only will I feel more confident but I will do better on the world history OGT.
